BraveVid separates platform legality, recommendation eligibility, monetization suitability, and viewer preference. Chronological feeds remain available. User filters are visible and reversible. Enforcement uses written conduct rules, receipts, appeals, and public aggregate reporting.
What is real today
BraveVid is live as a public viewer preview with a curated, visibly licensed external catalog, search, direct watch links, byte-range playback, likes, reports, appeals, and viewer-local hiding. External media remains on its original Wikimedia host. The private engineering pilot also proves upload-to-watch behavior. Public creator access remains closed until accounts, quarantine, media processing, legal escalation, and staffed review are operational.
