What BraveVid stores
The service stores creator email addresses, salted password hashes, expiring sessions, channel profiles, private uploads, review decisions, catalog metadata, public AI disclosures, view and like counters, reports, appeals and security audit events. Viewer hide choices stay in that browser's local storage.
Externally hosted media
External videos and thumbnails may load from YouTube, Vimeo or the linked source provider. Loading a watch page with an embedded player sends ordinary request information, such as your IP address, browser details and referring site, to that provider. YouTube embeds use its privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain; this does not make playback anonymous. Interacting with a player may allow the provider to store information under its own policies.

What it does not do
BraveVid uses MagicAds to show advertisements. Ad requests can include the page URL and title, browser information and session identifiers for delivery and measurement. Video providers process embedded player requests under their own privacy policies. BraveVid does not request precise location, and passwords are not stored in plaintext.
Retention and deletion
Account deletion and export, an enforced retention schedule, legal-hold rules, tested backups, and a named privacy contact must be completed before creator access scales.
