YOU'RE WELCOME | AI Short Film | Sapporo, 2003 #higgsfieldai #shortfilm #aifilm

December 2003, Sapporo. A washed-up Hollywood action star in a rented Santa suit walks off a Christmas-cake commercial and hides in the karaoke bar across the street. The night clerk lies for him. Then she hides him, room by room, from the crew chasing him — and when he asks her to teach him his one line of Japanese, she teaches him something else. They don't share a language. They share one night, one word, and a pink smudge of blusher. A short film about the small, temporary understanding between two people who should never have met — different ages, different countries, different words for the same loneliness. Japanese dialogue with English subtitles. Subtitles also available in Korean and Japanese (CC).
